Born and raised in Louisville, KY, John is a proud graduate of the St. Xavier High School and the University of Kentucky. After completing his degree in Finance and Management, John began a career in banking. During that time, he developed a passion for financial planning and investments. He has been helping clients with their investment and planning needs since 2009.
Always eager to learn and enhance his knowledge, John completed his Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning from Bellarmine University in 2016. He successfully completed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional requirements, involving an extensive curriculum and examination of retirement planning, tax planning, insurance and employee benefits, ethics, investment planning, and estate planning. He enjoys working with clients in all these areas in a comprehensive planning process.
John has been married to his wife Brooke since 2006. They have two children, Madeline and Hank. When he isn't working, John enjoys spending time with family, exercising, golfing, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. John is a board member of The Zoom Group, which was created to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to work and engage socially in their community. He also serves on the board of Hope Rescued, which fights homelessness and human trafficking in Louisville. John is member of the St. Francis Xavier Society of St. Xavier High School.
